Maybe try a different one..

Strengths:

Looks nice?

Weaknesses:

Signal strength varies from one bar to full strength while you're standing 4 feet from it, even after restarts, updates and troubleshooting. (phone/switch/PS4 pro) I get 700 mbps speed off of a "bottom end Telus router"... yet with this router, between the frequent connection drops, I receive 60mbps while automatically LOCKED on 2.4G with an instruction manual telling me to manually change it on an app menu and access route through the explorer. However when you follow the instructions and guide to the proper menu, it seems they have changed this menu so you can no longer access this option. Many forums are very unhappy with this, so I know its not just me.

Additional Comments:

This router has serious issues. I'm not sure if I found a lemon, but according to forums this may be its norm. I have been trying to work through this and get the speed that I bought it for, and despite having communication between my router and modem being 960mbps, the wifi throttles me back by 80-90% speed and they have removed the ability to manually change your connection to 5G. I would not recommend getting this router, as it is borderline false advertising.
