Used this riser bracket + cable in a generic "older" case. The bracket fits beautifully in 7 slot ATX cases without slot bars.

With an older "barred" slot case, some metal removal was required, but expected.

Seems to be a fairly universal slot form factor. Works great, very solid bracket, and cable assembly. Shows off the pretty side of your GPU.

was looking for a replacement for my cablemod vertical mount for more space next to my gpu for a reservoir in the future, this thing is damn solid compared to the cablemod mount too, with an evga 3080 ftw3 it barely moves even with a decent amount of pressure put onto the end of the card.

not a big deal for a few % of performance loss, but only pcie 3.0

Memory Express picked this up, nice! I had purchased this previously elsewhere before MemX brought in. But if I were buying now, I'd support my local Memory Express! This is the go to bracket for vertical mounting a GPU. Some cases support it directly, but mine did not. I installed this in an old Corsair 540 Air, which required me to dremel off the slots between the pci slots on the back of my case. Works well, and looks fantastic! Some of the other options out there that don't require case modifications like mine, place the GPU significantly closer to the front of your case. Obviously, that could potentially be an issue, with some GPU's being pretty long and barely fitting as is. This one doesn't have that issue.

Not comfortable with taking everything out of your case and modding it? If you don't have a case that doesn't require modification, then this obviously isn't the solution for you. Note also this is PCI-E 3.0 only. I've seen reviews elsewhere with people claiming the riser cable included does not work on PCI-E 4.0 systems. That's going to become more of a widespread issue soon obviously. I'd like to see a PCE-E 4.0 version of this with a compatible riser cable, those can be just as expensive as this entire kit!

Pretty much said it all. I give it 5 stars, because it does exactly what it intends to do perfectly. Not docking it points due to case mods, as I knew what I was getting into, and wasn't an issue for me. But, need a PCI-E 4.0 version. Soon..
