Solid drive but too noisy

Weaknesses:

The only problem I found was specific to my use case. This drive was placed in a Synology NAS in a living area and proved to be too loud. The clicking and grinding is simply too noisy.

Additional Comments:

Good drive but too noisy for my use case.

So many dead Ironwolfs from Memex

Strengths:

When they survive they are all good.... but read the weaknesses. Regardless of what every memex employee says, iron wolf pro's have data recovery included. Not that it does much good. Check https://www.seagate.com/support/internal-hard-drives/nas-drives/ironwolf-pro/ for if your drive includes data recovery at ZERO cost which was the other line memex towed incorrectly. Again, you could be waiting 4 months to get a drive, so if you love burning money and fighting with underpaid employees Seagate drives are for you.

Weaknesses:

I'm at 133% failure rate when we consider the replacements. Of the 3 drives I have 2 failed and now both their replacements failed. The one that showed up today was DOA. I've basically got well over 1000 dollars into paper weights.

Additional Comments:

Hard drives are luck of the draw I've heard and shipping is insanely bad for them. But I've never in my life over two different computers that don't move ever had this many failures. EVER. Every replacement drive I've ever got has now failed. Seagate laid off most of their staff and you can't call anymore and live agent time is bad, they know nothing, and it's a mess.
