Best PC Speakers On The Market

Strengths:

Excellent sound Excellent price for the quality. Excellent controls and user-friendliness

Weaknesses:

- Lack of repairability - Poor cable quality The only issue I have with Creative Labs as a whole are their cheap cables and lack of repairability. I've had my speakers for roughly ten years and unfortunately I'm starting to experience a bit of a problem with the headphone port (which is getting worn out). When I tried to open up the speaker to fix the problem I discovered that Creative Labs had hot-glued the PCB to the case, which makes it absolutely impossible to repair the device

Additional Comments:

These are by far the best PC speakers on the market. The sound is excellent, the adjustment knobs on the front are very smooth and much appreciated. . That being said, I would absolutely buy these speakers again.

Great Sound, Poor Feature

Strengths:

Great sound Nice looking unit

Weaknesses:

Power Standby is the reason I returned this. When I contacted Creative Labs, they said that this was a feature only in their European models, and advised me to return it. But I didn't want to waste time guessing which units were meant for Europe and which ones are for North America and won't go into standby. No way to disable this either.

Additional Comments:

The sound is great - both in gaming and watching movies - I have absolutely no complaints about that. The issue I had with these speakers is that after about 10-15 minutes of undetectable audio, the speakers will go into standby mode and power-off. But then when it detects audio, it will power-up and play. Problem is, by the time it powers up, you lose about 4-5 seconds of whatever you were trying to listen to. Main issue for me, is that I would miss notifications (like email bings).
