"It just works."

Strengths:

Plug and play, it does exactly what it says it will do without fuss.

Weaknesses:

None.

Additional Comments:

I have a really great 4K TV with an extremely annoying quirk; when you set it to 1080p using an HDMI cable, it overscans. It doesn't do this if you use a VGA (D-Sub) cable. The TV provides no way to disable it. Because I've got a GTX 1080 hooked up to the TV, and the card doesn't provide D-Sub analogue out (no DVI-I), this is a big problem since the GTX 1080 isn't powerful enough to run at 4K. Gaming has to take place at 1080p. This adapter solved the problem without any fuss. Hooked it up to the DP, connected the VGA cable to the TV, and BOOM: 1080p without overscan. Highly recommended for anyone who's had this extremely frustrating issue.
