Adds USB3 ports to your older pc

Strengths:

Works as advertised.

Weaknesses:

Needed to use windows drivers from Vantec website to use.

Additional Comments:

Purchased this card to add a USB 3 port to my older Asus motherboard. I can attest it works very well with my Logitech Brio webcam.

Very good card BUT Install the Driver, even on Win 10!

Strengths:

Great card, works perfectly with my new Logitech StreamCam webcam at 1080p 60fps! Very impressive that this card lets you use modern USB 3.0 C devices on any old PC with a PCIe 1x slot!

Additional Comments:

One IMPORTANT note, is go to the Vantec website and download and install the driver for the card (at the time of this review, the file is via_xhci_driver_v4.70c_ap_.zip). My webcam did not work properly with lots of flickering and very low framerate until I installed the driver (after an hour of troubleshooting!). On the website it says you don't need to install them if it is a Windows 10 system, this is wrong!
