A Good Idea; Poorly Implemented

Strengths:

- Mine are made of metal, not plastic, and have.lots of ventilation holes in the bottom. - Fits easily into 3.5" slot (or 5.25" with a regular 3.5" to 5.25" HDD bracket). - Holes align well with SSD and case. - It looks cool.

Weaknesses:

For some reason (or for no reason), these are made so that the tray extends an inch or so beyond the SSD. This makes it difficult to attach the power and data cables especially on the bottom drive. The metal is very thin and bends easily, so don't drop it! Forget about using a SATA cable with a 90 degree connector on the bottom drive. It can't be done.

Additional Comments:

There must be 100 ways to mount an SSD in a case. Do yourself a favour and try the other 99 first. One star for "Implementation," and one star for "good idea".
