Strengths:
Cheap Price
Dlink management interface
Weaknesses:
100 Mbps limited speeds
Additional Comments:
Read the fine print. I wish I had. Who still sells 100 mb/s routers? I made a mistake and never should have bought this thing. I mean fair is fair, it's right there on the label, but in today's market this thing is a paperweight out the box. If you know that going in, it works well and has all the basics you would want for configuration and management, but chances are that you do not mean to buy this thing unless you're just hooking up internet for your grandma.

Strengths:
Cheep. Looks good.
Might serve you well if you don't game and don't get annoyed by random lack of connection on 5G network.
2.4G Seems to work well. So as wired connection.
When the unit operates properly it has a decent latency.
Weaknesses:
Randomly drops 5G network. Network is active but no data is being transferred. Even at the very short distance from the router. Verified on 6 different devices.
Surprisingly high lost packet rate in 5G
Extremely limited settings.
Additional Comments:
Get it if you don't need a 5G or a gigabit network

Strengths:
Comes in a nice box
Weaknesses:
Providing internet at a reasonable speed
Additional Comments:
Slow wifi speeds prompted me running a physical cable and using this as a hub, which did not improve my situation. A call to Dlink and an eternity on hold later I find out this is only 10/100 and does NOT support gigabit lan.
Dispite the box claiming "fast transfer speeds of up to 867Mbps (5GHz) your maximum actual wireless speeds for ONE USER are going to cap about 100Mbps. Wish I knew that before buying and promptly losing the receipt.
Unless you connect with dial up avoid this router. You can find better in a rummage bin at Value Village.
Official Reply from Memory Express:
Jonathan, a few thoughts in response to your review.
- Our product page has always said this router has 10/100Mbps ports
- Your Wireless speeds are limited by your incoming Internet Speeds and the Read Speeds of your HDDs and SSDs. That is why we say, "IEEE 802.11ac: Up to 867 Mbps" on our site
- Unlike most of our competition, we do not require you to return the receipt with, in this case, the Router to return or exchange products within 15 days without restocking fees
We hope that helps you.
