It's Secure and Tamper Proof

The Nest × Yale Lock replaces the deadbolt you already have. If someone tries to tamper with it, you’ll get an alert. If the batteries start running low, you'll know right away. And if your lock loses power, you can quickly charge it with a 9Vdc battery to unlock the door.

Let Someone In From Anywhere

When the Nest × Yale Lock is connected to the Nest app, you can unlock your door from your phone. Create passcodes for family, guests and people you trust. Even set times when passcodes expire. You can get alerts whenever someone unlocks and locks the door. And when Nest knows you’re away, your door can lock automatically.

How It Works

This Nest × Yale Lock with included Nest Connect speaks with your existing Wi-Fi network and with the Nest App through Nest Connect or Nest Guard. You’ll need either one to lock and unlock your door remotely. When you purchase the Nest × Yale Lock from Memory Express, Nest Connect is included in the box.

The Nest × Yale Lock doesn’t connect directly to Wi-Fi. Instead it uses Weave technology to connect to a Nest Connect or Nest Guard in your home. Your Connect or Guard, which are connected to your Wi-Fi network, let your lock communicate with the Nest service in the cloud and the Nest app on your phone.

If you’re installing multiple locks around your property, you may only need one Nest Connect to work with your locks. If your doors are too far apart, you will need more than one Nest Connect to reach them all.
For best results, you should try to install your Nest Connect about halfway between your router and your lock(s).
