Awful

Strengths:

Good cooling

Weaknesses:

Software is terrible

Additional Comments:

The cooling and fans seem pretty great but the software ruins the product. I was unable to update the firmware at all using my Ryzen 3600X based system. After 7 or 8 tries, I gave up. I finally was able to update it by plugging the device into my MacBook Pro running Windows 11 and performed the firmware update using that. Now that it's updated, the iCue software regularly forgets my settings, it will change the motherboard temperature sensor source causing my fans to run too slow. And the cooler will intermittently disconnect from the USB interface, which causes the RGB and fan curves to stop functioning until I reboot my system. Awful product to live with. The only reason it's still in my system is because it cools well and it's a ton of work to replace now that it's installed. Never again will I buy a Corsair product.

Mr

Additional Comments:

Works great so far. I've attached this to my Ryzen 5 3600x and was able to overclock it to 4.5ghz and have had no issues at all.

Works well, very loud

Strengths:

Cooling is very good on this model. Very easy to install compared to the Arctic Frozen II. ARGB works well, no issues.

Weaknesses:

Fans are really loud, can't control fans directly to an RPM I like or want.

Additional Comments:

Good cooler but the fans suck.
