Strengths:

Pretty. Nice lighting -- I can find it in the dark without turning on extra lights, which helps keep my electricity bill charges in line. Ok for the price when it's on sale. Good ergonomic fit for my tactile-challenged hands.

Weaknesses:

Don't buy it unless you are a gamer. Page back previous window buttons on the left side of mouse.

Additional Comments:

Not for old gear-heads like me. I purchased this because I wanted a wired mouse (no battery required), and it was on sale. Logitech makes some nice computing accessories. But... this is essentially a gaming mouse, not an office-worker mouse. My thumb kept nudging the 'return to previous page' buttons located on the left side of this mouse, whether I was just poodling around on the web, or using my file manager for serious maintenance of my mass collection of digital stuff. When you have 3 spreadsheets open as well as some banking info and an insurance policy inquiry, you don't want to be hitting the page-back button accidentally (the one on the left side of the mouse). The result can be a mess in a moment. So I'm going to pass this one on to my nephew who loves to game. I'm reverting back to my aging 2-button-plus-wheel-mouse, and a flashlight for night use. It's really a case of fundamentals over fashion for this user.

Inadequate

Strengths:

It has a wire

Weaknesses:

I have 2 x 203 (wired) and 1 times (305) wireless First mousewheel (wired) died after 2 months (not died as such, but skips all around, doesn't scroll up or down without jumping or not doing anything) Second (g203) died after 4 months, (mouse wheel), this time only works to click and the wheel itself rotates without even a tactile feedback. Mouse still works ok The 305 so far, is working fairly( but still not impressed with it randomly skipping when gaming) I ended up with a different mouse from some Duck company :) and it's been flawless since purchase.

Additional Comments:

I think it's a waste of money at any price. Plenty of other options to choose from, or get a higher end Logitech. These to me, are definitely not up to the bar I expected.

Rip Friend

Strengths:

Good mouse. Lasted 8 years which is solid. No issues for a long time. Good response time.

Weaknesses:

Started double clicking after 7 years but it went away after blowing into it. After 8 years mouse would freeze then jump to another spot on the monitor. I did not have a fix for this

Additional Comments:

Would buy again. Quality mouse.

Good mouse, but software could be better

Strengths:

The mouse itself is nice enough. I have medium-sized hands and it's comfortable for me. It feels well made and doesn't rattle if I shake it. The buttons and scroll wheel all feel nice, and the lighting is a nice touch. I like having the ability to build custom animations for the lighting.

Weaknesses:

The software is confusing and not the most reliable. Custom settings for the buttons will randomly decide to not work. The interface is extremely confusing. And the mouse can't remember all of your settings onboard; you need to use the software to get full functionality out of it. If this weren't the case, I'd install the software, set my mouse up and then get rid of it.

Additional Comments:

It's a functional and nice-looking mouse, but the software experience could be way better.

Awesome Mouse (So Far)

Strengths:

I have only had this Mouse for 2 days but so far it seems awesome. It is: - Responsive and quick. The colour-wave/colour shift of the RGB on the Logitech emblem as well as the strip that wraps around the back and sides is very beautiful. Although I did not want a mouse with RGB I admit it is very beautiful. - It is an average-sized mouse. I have massive hands and I actually love the size and shape of this mouse. I had an Asus mouse before. It felt like trying to play games with an engineering brick. It was behemoth. And as most of MY experiences go with Asus products, it started to act up and bug out. So I returned to a quality brand that I have trusted for many decades. Logitech. I've had many keyboards and mice from their company over the decades and I have never had to return or go through warranty for any their products.

Weaknesses:

It makes a weird brief quack noise when you move the mouse downwards on the notepad. The gliding plastic stickies underneath must vibrate going in that direction. I did read about some other user having the same issue. So it's not my mousepad. However it is so minute it is not a concern for me. Plus if I switch from a cloth mouse pad to an acrylic or polymer the most likely won't happen anymore.

Additional Comments:

I have realized that I should just keep trusting a company that I've trusted for so many decades. Logitech truly is the king of quality computer peripheral products.
