Sharp image with the 2560 x 1440p. Supposedly high refresh rate (165hz) and 1ms response time.

Ghosting at high FPS in games like Fortnite.

I purchased this monitor in Aug of 2021. By Sept 2021 I had dead pixels and exchanged it thinking it was a one off. My second monitor did not have any pixel issues but after I purchased a high-end gaming desktop and started running the monitor at it's expected refresh rate I experienced major ghosting. I tried changing every conceivable setting on the monitor lowering FPS in games and changing the monitor response rate to any of the 3 options: normal, fast and fastest. I decreased all of the settings in Fortnite, minus viewing distance, to the lowest settings and nothing changed it. I researched this extensively and the only suggestions were possible interference from other hardware like routers etc near the monitor. Recently I returned it as a warranty issue after talking to an MSI representative who believes it is a hardware issue. So I think I will just sell the replacement and buy a different monitor. MSI seems easy to deal with but this particular product isn't as advertised from my experience. If you are playing high movement games like Fortnite, I would suggest just staying away from higher resolution monitors. 1080p and higher refresh rates and response rates are likely the way to go.

The screen seems great for both work and gaming. It's crisp and keeps up with my video card.

It really struggles to wake up. When it can't find a signal, it won't let me get to the menus to try to change the input to flip to my other computer. When I sit down at my desk in the morning it's a 5 minute dance to try to get this thing to recognize either of the two computers I have hooked up to it. It's super inconsistent. Some days it seems to figure itself out. Today I had to mess with it for quite a while. For full disclosure, I have a Macbook Pro going into the HDMI input, and a desktop PC dual booting between Linux and Windows (mostly Linux) going into the DP input. I realize that it may be my video card's signal, but my older, crappier monitor, did not struggle like this. Maybe this one needs to scan more or something. When it isn't happy, I can't bring up any of the monitor's menus to try to force it to switch to the other computer which is incredibly annoying. I have the auto-scan turned off because that seemed worse, but I may go back to that setting.

One of the reasons I bought this monitor is because it has multiple inputs and a selector. This doesn't work. Rebooting the monitor sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. I hate this thing and it will be the last MSI product I buy. My MSI laptop, also from MemoryExpress, worked but had a lot of annoying quirks as well. This monitor may work fine for you if you have a Windows PC. I'm not sure. Take your risk.

This monitor was a bit dark out of the box but once you set it up, it’s fantastic! Great response time, thin bezel and great quality pieces. Easy to assemble!

MSI products are great and I’d recommend this monitor if you are looking for a high end 1440p monitor at a reasonable price.

Great colour accuracy when calibrated Addition of Anti Motion Blur is a nice touch definitely makes it go the other mile 1440p 165hz is a good combination for most gamers there's a windows application to control the osd so you don't have to play around with the joystick on the back just to change the brightness stand doesn't get in the way of the mousepad

more on the expensive side for a monitor colors are definitely off when the monitor isnt calibrated a higher refresh rate would have been nice to see

overall the monitor is good when calibrated and has great colours. 165hz and 1440p is great but a 180 hz would have been perfect for this price. despite the lack of 180 hz, Anti Motion Blur is a nice touch definitely helps it to bridge the gap. overall a great monitor

Recently bought this monitor for gaming and work use. Was researching a good 1440P monitor with good refresh rate and response time and kept coming back to this one. Glad I purchased it as it has been a huge upgrade and I couldn't be happier. No stuck pixels or issues with the screen and really impressed after some color adjustments.
