Works Well

Strengths:

Fast and stable overclock.

Weaknesses:

"Only" 8 cores/16 threads

Additional Comments:

Overall, does the job, supports PCIe 4.0 and works well enough for my purposes. Too bad there are already better processors out on the market so quickly.

Fast, stable and overclocks easily

Strengths:

Overclocks to 5ghz without liquid cooling. m.2 boot on the PCIe 4.0 bus boots up incredibly fast

Weaknesses:

expensive

Additional Comments:

Happy with the i7 11700K, best bang for the buck for a fast CPU with onboard graphics and PCIe 4.0 support.

Trades blows with the older, cheaper 10700K

Strengths:

It can load an operating system?

Weaknesses:

Often slower than the 10700K More expensive than the 10700K

Additional Comments:

This processor is sometimes faster and sometimes slower than the part they released previously. If they were the same price it would be a situation of not really mattering.....but they're not. This part is significantly more expensive making this just terrible compared to their previous part. No sane person should buy an 11700K while the 10700K exists unless you have a very specific workload.
