Strengths:
- Monitor looks and functions great
- USB-C connectivity is excellent
Weaknesses:
- Magnetic case is faulty and fails to protect monitor
- Comes with bizarre pen assessory
Additional Comments:
This stunning monitor on its own looks and functions amazingly. However, it comes with a protective case that is both inovative and deeply flawed.
The magnetic case lets go causing the monitor to fall out of it. Be very careful not to let this happen because the damage caused by this flaw is not covered by Memory Express' IPR warranty plan, or ASUS for that matter.
The monitor also comes with a cheap pen, which seems like a bizarre inclusion in an otherwise high-end product. I guess it's supposed to be used as a kickstand but I never used it for that. Also, I'd be worried somebody might think that the pen is supposed to be used as an input device on the screen. Do not try this; it is not a touch screen.

Strengths:
- Highly portable/lightweight, fits almost anywhere.
- ASUS quality 1080p IPS panel.
- Only 1x USB 3 Type-C required to use. No power cables, HDMI, DisplayPort etc.
- Stand options: magnetic protective case, pen, or separate purchase for side mounts for about $30 each off amazon.
- Standard ASUS menu features.
Weaknesses:
- Pricey! You can get a 4K UHD Monitor for this price...
- USB 3.0 conversion dongle is hit or miss if it works with your computer. plan on using a real USB Type-C cable.
- Brightness is a tad low. Can be hard to use outside on a bright day.
- I haven't been able to get the auto-rotate feature to work yet between landscape and portrait.
Additional Comments:
If you are a travelling professional or just like to work in coffee shops or in the airport that absolutely cannot work on a single monitor, this monitor is a must have regardless of price.
Very happy with the purchase. If this monitor was in the $200-$250 range, I'd give it a 5-star rating.
