Strengths:
12th generation support.
Rebar Technology
Weaknesses:
The bios needed to be updated to fix a small issue.
Additional Comments:
This is an excellent motherboard with the support of Intel's 12th generation. Also, this motherboard supports many modern technologies like Rebar, boosting the performance of your PC in games.
It is highly recommended.

Strengths:
Nice and sturdy. lots of USB ports. Great for i7-12700k with Liquid cooler
Weaknesses:
only one M.2 shield frozr
Additional Comments:
Overall a good board, if you are looking to save some money on a board. MSI products are always good and they are very well build. I have bought this board as i want to stick with DDR4 for a while as DDR5 is not that readily available yet.

Weaknesses:
This review was motivated by the MSI review program.
Specifically: This review is for the MSI Review Rebate Program
Additional Comments:
Linux Performance has been great minus a few issues with IOMMU groups being less than Ideal.
Performance in AVX-512 workloads (enabled by a post launch Bios) has been great.
Alder lake in general is not worth pumping extra power/voltage through for compute/scientific workloads. My testing has show the Ideal sweet spot at long duration power max=180w, short duration =200w long duration time=128s
This allows for longer sustained system performance. You lose ~2-3% but gain that and more back to to systaining lower temperatures and higher overall clocks on both core multiplier AND ring bus (with ecores disabled)

Strengths:
Z690 chipset, good VRM stability, 3 NVME drives (one with a heatsink), two ARGB headers, two RGB headers, plenty of USB 3 and 3.1 headers, a thunderbolt header, tons of USB ports (the main reason I got this board) and includes WiFi/Bluetooth where other boards this price do not.
Weaknesses:
Haven't found any so far - it has been very stable, did some light overclocking with no issues.
Additional Comments:
I feel this is the best value motherboard for this chipset, especially if you're looking for lots of USB ports!

Strengths:
-Fast
Weaknesses:
-High Voltages
Additional Comments:
Board lasted 2 days before it died. It appears that MSI may have some sort of overclocking out of the box. Watching both the wattage and VID in Core Temp I was noticing quite often the voltage was going over 1.32V, and the wattage never went beneath 3.2W. Got a replacement chip and Gigabyte Z690 UD AX board and the voltage never hits 1.3V, and the wattage drops down to 1.3W at times.
