Loving the 4K 240Hz OLED life

Strengths:

Pros: - Great reflection handling even for bright rooms - Great size and resolution for gaming and watching movies - Fast response time for gaming, everything is super clear even in fast paced shooters like Overwatch and Apex.

Additional Comments:

With this purchase it is a lots of first for me, first 4K monitor, first 240Hz monitor and my first 4K display other than a iPhone. In terms of contrast and clarity it is everything that I expected. I am loving playing all kinds of games from fast paced shooters to cinematic single player experiences. Watching movies and TV shows is amazing from Netflix with HDR support. Because this is a QD-OLED panel the colors are just breathtaking. The brightness of colors is any scene is just so life like. I am hopeful that in the future the overall brightness of this technology keeps getting better with better ambient light handling. Other than I have no complaints and MSI also provides great burn in warranty and the price is better than any other product on the market so can't complain in those regards. Overall happy with the purchase so far.

End Game Monitor

Strengths:

Image Quality, Monitor featues (KVM, USB-C 90W PD, HDMI 2.1, OLED Care 2.0, adjustable stand)

Weaknesses:

DP 1.4, KVM doesn't wake monitor from standby, OLED care turns off monitor

Additional Comments:

This monitor is truly end-game for me and my wants. The image quality in comparison to other displays I’ve used (C3, AW3225QF, Neo G8, MEG 342C) is truly a step above. The colours are amazing. They really pop and the images really look almost 3D. I use a curved monitor regularly, so flat/curved doesn't bother me one way or the other but compared to the AW3225QF, this monitor is better for my use case. It has a standard audio out, better HDR out of the box, and functional USB-C with DP Alt and great 90W PD. This monitor is my favourite monitor so far and I love it. Very happy with my purchase.

End Game Monitor

Strengths:

Display quality, features

Weaknesses:

KVM a bit lacking - unable to get the monitor to wake from sleep with the mouse and keyboard

Additional Comments:

Very happy to get my hands on this monitor. I was lucky enough to be able to compare it to the C3 42", AW3225QF, and Neo G8. I got the MSI, booted it up, and decided right then this was the monitor for me. All the features have been great compared to the AW. USB-C with DP alt has been great for the occasional use hooking up my work Surface tablet and simply having a 3.5mm jack for audio out was much simpler for my setup than the AW. The HDR was also much better for me on the MSI than the AW. Overall features for the image quality on this monitor have made this monitor truly end game for me.

First QD-OLED

Strengths:

-Exceptional picture quality -Punchy vibrant colors -Deep and i mean really deep blacks -Priced lower then the competition

Weaknesses:

-Produce a fair amount of heat -Not as bright as a QD-Oled TV in HDR

Additional Comments:

I have just recently purchased this monitor and I plan to daily drive it through desktop applications and games. So far I am really impressed at how vibrant and 3D everything looks compared to my previous IPS monitor, which was plagued with IPS bleed. The colours are very bright and distinct, especially if a coloured object is surrounded by black. Gaming is really a joy with the 240hz refresh, assuming you have the hardware to back it up. Everything is so silky smooth and clear, that objects that pan across the screen seems to hold their details and blur less compared to IPS screens. As for any negatives that I have so far, is that it produces a lot more heat then my IPS lcd. Oh, and don’t forget to peel off the protective film on the panel, I almost freaked out that it was like looking into a mirror until I realised my error. With my short experience so far, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gaming monitor and if they are concerned about burn-in, MSI has a 3 year burn-in MFG warranty.

A Masterpiece: 11/10

Strengths:

As someone who's never owned an OLED monitor before, the OLED Monitor Gamer has completely spoiled me. The picture quality is absolutely stunning. I didn't realize how much I was missing out on with my old monitor until I started using this one.

Additional Comments:

Gaming feels so much more immersive now(just if the game supports the 4k), with colors that pop and no blurriness during fast-paced action scenes also I love the black in the monitor. And let's talk about the design—it's so sleek and modern-looking. I'm in love! This monitor has set the bar pretty high for any future displays I might buy. Absolutely worth every penny!

Perfect monitor for gaming and work related needs.

Strengths:

- Excellent display quality at 4k 32 inch (140 PPI) - Infinite contrast ratio for dark rooms - Vibrant and accurate colour - Extremely smooth motion at 240hz - Lots of OLED care functions for protection - 3 year burn-in warranty

Weaknesses:

- Cables that come with the monitor could be better - OLED care functions could have better defaults

Additional Comments:

An amazing monitor at a fair price point, and one of the best you can get in today's market. This monitor has been great for both my gaming and working needs. It turned gaming for me into an entirely different experience as I mostly play in a dimly lit room. I had never realized just how bad the contrast ratio of an IPS panel makes everything look until I saw the 321URX. I was initially scared to use this monitor for anything but gaming, though after seeing all the care features and the burn-in warranty, I feel much less worried. My only real complaints are that as others have said, it would be nice to get more and longer cables with the monitor. The OLED care features should also be on by default, with pixel refreshes set to 16 hours instead of auto, in my opinion, though these issues are easily fixable. Overall, I would recommended this monitor to anyone looking to get the best of the best it the current market.

Best OLED I've Had Yet

Strengths:

Colour Output, Image Quality, Glassy Screen, Refresh Rate, KVM, 3.5mm output, USB-C with DP Alt. and 90W PD

Weaknesses:

Package contents a little lacking compared to the MEG 342C (doesn't include USB-C, DP cable, or mouse jumbee), DP 1.4 only, OLED Burn-in (although warranty coverage and OLED care features help ease concerns, though), raised blacks in bright room

Additional Comments:

This is hands down the best HDR monitor I've tried. I've compared it side by side to the LG C3 42", the AW3225QF, and the MEG 342C. The text clarity is excellent compared to the others. The only one that comes close is the AW3225QF, but when comparing features and pricing, the MSI wins. I also found the MSI had better HDR out of the box without calibration in comparison to the Alienware. The warranty coverage also helps to mitigate my biggest concerns with this tech, burn-in. Memex has stated that their IPR covers whatever the manufacturer covers, so I went for the IPR as well since MSI includes OLED burn-in in their warranty. I'm not one for extended warranties, but I think it's worth it for the peace of mind. It might sound like pandering/cliche but this monitor, to me, is truly end-game. I've been looking for a monitor for quite some time now and this is the best so far. If you can get your hands on it, it's a great buy.

Exceptional Display Quality

Additional Comments:

I recently got my hands on the MSI QD-OLED monitor, and I'm blown away! The display quality is insane - the colors are so vibrant and the text is super sharp. Plus, the 240Hz refresh rate response time make for a ridiculously smooth gaming experience. I feel like I'm right in the game! This monitor has exceeded my expectations in every way. The display quality is top-notch, and the fast response time has improved my gaming performance. Plus, the advanced features have taken my gaming experience to the next level.

Fantastic monitor that's great for both work and productivity!

Strengths:

- Vivid colours and deep blacks - Gets really bright, definitely bright enough for everyday productivity - Lots of OLED care software options - Lots of ports, currently have a PC and PS5 set up

Weaknesses:

- USB-A ports are only 2.0

Additional Comments:

I've been using this monitor daily for about three weeks now, and I'm extremely impressed! The controls are really intuitive and easy to navigate, and there are a lot of customization options for the screen. MSI also has lots of great OLED care features like pixel shift and border detection, which gives me a lot of confidence in the longevity of the product. Coming from an IPS monitor, I could immediately tell how much better the screen was on this, and how massive the upgrade was right out of the box. I can see myself using this for years to come, especially with the OLED protection features!

Really nice 32" monitor

Strengths:

-Beautiful deep blacks -easy to use display controls -great colours out of the box -4k resolution -240hz

Weaknesses:

-Like some other reviews have mentioned, it would have been nice to have a slightly longer HDMI cable. My pc is below my desk. The cable reaches, but just barely.

Additional Comments:

I am very happy so far with my purchase. I was a little hesitant at first, but the return policy at Memory Express makes it an easy decision to try for a few weeks. The display controls are easy to navigate and simple to use. I have two windows off to the side of my desk and I am really surprised at how well this monitor manages the ambient light. Once you take the protective film off the screen, there is barely any reflection at all. Over the years I have gone from a 24" TN panel to an IPS. I really think this new oled is a major jump in screen technology. The blacks are superior. I find the colours good right out of the box and 4k resolution is amazing to look at. I do a lot of productivity work on my pc and I really appreciate how sharp the text is. Even as a casual gamer, I can see that my older rx580 is clearly not doing this oled any justice. I can get 2k/120hz at 70-90fps on games like DOTA2. Anything else more demanding is pretty rough to look at. I'm not sure even today's best gpu's can unlock the full potential of this monitor. Which is great, because it means this this screen will be with me a very long time.
